Over twenty years ago, True Grain began crafting bread in the seaside village of Cowichan Bay. It was founded on a simple but powerful ethos: craftsmanship — bake real bread the old-world way, by hand, from scratch, with organic grains, freshly milled, with patience and respect.
Their guiding philosophy is to reconnect people with real food, valuing organic farming, sustainability, and community. Breads and pastries are handcrafted daily, using European-inspired recipes and traditional methods.
100% BC-grown Organic Grain
True Grain stone-mills heritage and ancient grains right in the Cowichan Valley. Stone milling means low temperatures to preserve nutrients and flavour — no preservatives, conditioners, or shortcuts. They source from local organic farmers, ensuring transparency from farm to loaf.
